Terms and Conditions

PPS Plastering and painting specialists terms and conditions – By using the services of PPS you are entering into a contract with us and agreeing to the below terms and conditions.

  • The agreed final quote represents a written contract for the exact work to be completed at the price quoted.
  • Any agreement made verbally is not covered by the contract unless it has been written into said contract.
  • The agreement is made between PPS and the client. The client is identified as the person who requested the quotation.
  • The acceptance of the quote signifies a full acceptance and commitment to accept these terms and conditions.
  • Please check the quote carefully.
  • Quote is only valid for 30 days.


Condition of existing surfaces

Unless specifically mentioned, no provision is made for any unforeseen repairs below papered walls, painted woodwork, painted walls or painted ceilings as it is assumed that such surface is in a good condition/state suitable to take the necessary treatments specified. The cost of the repairs/renewal of any defects which are not clearly visible at the time of estimating will be chargeable unless such items is included in quotation. These will be fully discussed with the client and costings agreed before commencing any further.
All surface preparation, coating applications and/or installation shall meet or exceed industry standards, you are hiring the services of an experienced, professional contractor.


Waste Removal

PPS does not carry the necessary licenses with the local authorities to carry or remove any waste related to the works carried out on your property. All waste will be fully bagged up ready for your removal/disposal. On projects that requires a skip, this will be included in our quotation.


Clients responsibility’s

Client will assume all responsibility’s to remove from and any and all work areas all household and personal items ( With the exception of large furniture items such as sofas and beds), and store those items away from the work area during the duration of the job.
PPS will not be held liable for damage to any items not removed from the work area. Any large items left in the room will be fully protected with plastic sheeting/dust sheets.


Materials
All necessary materials can and will be supplied by PPS will always be of the highest trade quality available and used in the appropriate manner as per the manufacturers guideline.
PPS are not responsible for the performance or suitability of any materials, parts or products directly purchased by the client.
